Our Mission
Wholeheartedly preparing students for the SAT one test prep session at a time.
1. We are student-focused.
Here at Illuminare, our students come first. Instructors are trained to put the needs of the students first, recognizing that each student is unique and should be celebrated for who he or she is.
“The SAT can be daunting for many students. The instructor did a great job breaking down the sections of the test to identify strengths and weaknesses. Her services were invaluable in preparing my daughter for success.”
- Sherry J., parent
2. We are goals-oriented.
Secondly, we see that each student brings a unique set of goals to the table for both themselves and the course. At Illuminare, we see the gravity in attaining those goals with and for our students. Our instructors work diligently to do all that they can to help each student succeed in the ways they set out to.
“The instructor was great and the environment was very relaxed which helped me improve my SAT score by over 100 points. This allowed me to get into my first choice school and receive a scholarship!”
- Emma D., student
3. We have fun.
Lastly, we recognize that SAT Prep can often be boring and may not be how teenagers would prefer to spend their time. At Illuminare, we recognize that SAT Prep may not always be fun, per se, but our instructors make the classroom experience a relaxed and enjoyable one for each of our students.
“Studying with the instructor was a great way for me to grow academically! The small classroom setting made me feel comfortable to ask questions that I may be more hesitant to ask in a bigger environment and she would explain as many times as I needed to fully grasp concepts.” - Emma J., student
